In the early 1900s, the property that is now Pinecroft, was purchased by the Stone family and operated as a fruit and Christmas tree farm. In the late 1980’s, Lee Stone, saw the potential for a golf course on the property and with the help of Jim Cole, Andy Norman, and Craig Carlson, Pinecroft was designed and built.

The course opened in 1991 and is still owned and operated by the Stone family today with many family members working on the grounds crew and in the pro shop. Pinecroft was such a success that Lee Stone and Jim Cole later built Champion Hill on another family Christmas tree farm a few miles down the road from Pinecroft. Champion Hill opened for golf in 2000.

Pinecroft overlooks stunning Crystal Lake offering breathtaking views. The layout makes great use of the area’s natural topography with rolling hills, narrow tree-lined fairways, and undulating greens. In the pro shop you will find friendly and welcoming staff. Amenities include: driving range, putting green, club rentals, and a self-serve snack counter.
