We will have our first Couple’s Fun Night of the Season on June 10th at Champion Hill. We will have a brief meeting at 3:30 to organize the group for the season and will then start golfing at 4:00 with a potluck afterwards. This year we will be meeting at 4:00 (except for the first night) so that we can finish golf and start eating earlier! The game for the first night will be a two-man scramble with the clubhouse randomly selecting three holes to throw out while the group is out golfing (the scores for the holes that are thrown out will not be counted). Costs will be $4.00 per couple for the game and greens fees for non-members will be $20 per person for 9 holes with cart ($40 per couple). Please sign-up up by June 8th if you plan on joining us on the 10th. A sign-up sheet is available at Champion Hill’s counter. When signing-up please indicate what type of dish you plan on bringing to the potluck (main dish, salad, or dessert). You can buy pop at the clubhouse or bring a beverage of your choice to the potluck. Also, please bring your own plates and silverware.

For those of you who are not familiar with Couple’s Night, it is an informal league that plays on Sundays. This year we will be playing every other Sunday. Golfers of all abilities are encouraged to participate. Participants are not required to come each Sunday; instead you can sign-up for the weeks that you can come. Sign-up sheets will be available 7-10 days prior to each Couple’s Night and will be at the clubhouse the Couple’s Night is scheduled to play at.
